Rami Ghorra
Rami holds a Bachelor of Health Science and Masters in Podiatric Medicine. He has extensive experience in all fields of Podiatry. This includes treating musculoskeletal conditions, skin and nail pathologies, paediatric care, geriatric care as well as providing ongoing care and treatment for high-risk individuals who suffer from lifelong conditions.
He understands that every patient has different needs, so he strives to tailor every treatment plan to each individual. He has been fortunate to be selected as a provider for the Australian Defence Force. He is also the Clinical director for the Podiatric care for two large, aged
care facilities, in which he provides ongoing education, care and treatment plans for a team in each facility.
Rami enjoys all aspects of Podiatry both musculoskeletal care; including extensive knowledge in treating heel pain injuries as well as your day-to-day skin and nail complications from fungal nails, ingrowns to warts and callouses! Here at The Podiatry Centre, Rami and his colleagues are equipped with the highest level of technology and equipment to make sure the best possible treatment is available to get the job done. He has provided treatment for individuals from all walks of life, including fly in fly outpatients, Olympic athletes, defence force personnel, aged care, paediatrics, and your weekend warrior.
He is certified to complete minor surgical procedures including ingrown toenail surgeries, fungal nail operations, and curettage. He is also certified, trained and extensively knowledgeable in the use of radial shockwave therapy, dry needling, strength & conditioning training, and custom prescription orthotics for musculoskeletal injuries. Rami is very gentle with his treatments and passionately aims to achieve a successful result every time.
Interesting fact: The youngest patient Rami has treated was a 3 week old baby and the oldest patient was 106 years old!
